SDG 16.7.1 Proportions and Number of Positions in National and Local Legislatures by Population Group and Age Group

This dataset provides information about the proportions and number of positions in national and local legislatures in the State of Qatar for the years 2016 to 2020. It covers five sub indicators: the proportion of women in parliaments, the ratio of the proportion of women in parliament to the proportion of women among the Qatari population, the number of youth in parliament aged 45 years or under, the proportion of youth in parliament aged 45 years or under, and the ratio of the proportion of youth members in parliament to the proportion of the Qatari population aged 45 years or under at minimum eligibility age. Values are expressed as percentages for the proportion sub indicators, as a count for the number of youth in parliament, and as a ratio for the two ratio sub indicators.
